The collision cut off the ship’s three high-rise masts upon impact and reportedly sent crew members hanging in the air.

Early Sunday morning, Mayor Adams returned to X, offering prayers for those injured in the accident and thanking the first responders for their quick action. He also confirmed that the Brooklyn Bridge suffered no damage from the accident.
