For Americans, ice cream is one of the most popular foods to enjoy. But in May 2025, one of the major brands recalled several ice cream products: Wells Enterprises, also known as Wells Dairy. The news came months after countless snacks and supplements were recalled during the December 2024 winter break.

Why was Wales ice cream called?
Wells Enterprises, the parent company of popular ice cream brands such as Blue Bunny and Halo Top, has voluntarily issued a recall for more than 17,800 cartons of frozen ice cream and yogurt due to potential plastic contamination. The range of products affected by the recall is from 103 distribution centers.
Ice cream items retrieved between March 2026 and October 2026 expire.
